AK-12 photo report

The new AK-12 has the following differences compared to the older AK-74:

1. New telescopic buttstock with adjustable cheek piece.
2. Buttstock line is now continuous with the barrel.
3. Receiver lid is now non-detachable, but is pivoted forward at the gas block and is fixed by a spring-loaded catch in the back.
4. New rigid lid allows for installation of sights on it and is equipped with picatinny rails for this.
5. New ambidextrous safety.
6. Ejector slot is covered not by safety lever, but by a special sliding cover.
7. Reloading handle and ejector (with ejection slot cover) could be installed both on the right and on the left.
8. Action now has a bolt catch.
9. New mags are developed: stackable 2-row (30 rounds), 4-row (60 rounds), and drum (100 rounds, IIRC)
10. Interchangeable handguard — with picatinny rails and with grenade launcher lugs.
11. Picatinny rails on the gas block.
12. Barrel can be exchanged much more easily.
13. New muzzle device compatible with rifle grenades.

Notice the new magazine which work with the bolt-catch of the AK-12. The release of bolt is on the both sides of the magazine latch.

MilSim Training 2012. 06. 9-10.

Two members of our team took a part from the Milsim training game last weekend in the nearby forest.
Twenty four hours event with three sides. Red forces vs. Blue forces and a sniper team against both of
them.

We were on the Red side of course, and had the opportunity to test our equipment again. The Fleactar-d outfits in the forest just worked perfect. Sometimes the enemy did not know from where we shoot, and we where sitting just about 20-30 meters in front of them. :D

Day one was about taking a forward operating base, and defend it. But after a big wave of enemy attack we had to give it up. So at the second half of the day we tried to get it back. After a few assaults the Blue forces tried to break out, but our squad where in their way, so they did not make it.
The FOB was again on Red hands.

On the morning of the second day our squad was deployed again to the FOB to defend it with another team, at all costs.
At the rest of the game we have repelled all attacks, but after a few hours we where outnumbered and out gunned, so the only chance was to break out.

Some of our men, went forward, but they have run into the enemy. They have encountered a few Blue team members, and than radioed for reinforcement. The rest of our team went to help. We have reached the main site of the endgame where the enemy flag was raised. We had the luck that only a few guarded the site. So it was not hard to take the enemy flag. After this we have called our main forces to bring our flag immediately, they where luckily in the nearby, so they came, and after a little shooting they where able to raise our flag, and the round was won.

VANARAS PBS-1

The Vanaras PBS-1 is the most accurate replica on the market.
It is full steel, it has unique serial number, and it has the most accurate detailing among all the PBS-1 replicas compared to the real thing.
The steel is factory blackened, it has foam inside. It makes your airsoft weapon a bit silenter, but it is mostly an optical tuning part.
It has a -14 mm thread only.
It weights a ton ;)

If you want to get the best replica go for it! It is way better than the ELEMENT, which is often aslope, and it has a way to small hole at the front, so the BB-s often clash to the side of this hole.

GEAR UP!

part 1.

First you need is a good weapon.

My Kalash full steel AK-74M replica:

This solid piece of metal is serving me now for more than two years.
The original factory wood fore grip was replaced with a kalash plum upper handguard, and a cyma black tactical lower part. The cyma part is need to be modified ti fit well into the VFC system because it is made for the LCT or Marui guns.
But after a little work it fit hard as rock.
The buttstock was replaced with a telescopic magpul type.
A custom adapter was made to install an m4 stock tube right in place of the original foldable stock.
I'm using an SSO RT-3 tactical sling, I'm very satisfied with it, I recommend.

Inside it has got an element red hop up chamber, with systema hop up rubber. Stock inner barrel, and stock gearbox, only replaced the spring guide to a guarder one. It has got factory stock 7mm ball bearings. Now its shoot around 370 FPS, and I can hit man sized targets from about 50-60 meters.
